20 February 2015, Male'; Minister of Foreign Affairs Her Excellency Dunya Maumoon has said that the Government of Maldives has no doubt that India will adhere to the principle of Panchsheel and will not intervene in domestic politics of Maldives. She said it today via a tweet from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Ms. Dunya Maumoon met with Minister of External Affairs of India, H.E. Ms. Sushma Swaraj, today.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H. E. Ms. Dunya Maumoon has said that the Maldives and China together are ready to achieve many successes for our people.

Charge ďaffaires of the US Embassy, Mr. Andrew C. Mann, has called on Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon today.

Ambassador of Germany to the Republic of Maldives,  His Excellency Dr. Jürgen Morhard  called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Ms. Dunya Maumoon,  today.

Head of the Political Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat, Director, Mr. Amitav Banerji  called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Dunya Maumoon today. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs H. E. Ms. Dunya Maumoon has said that the Maldives will always remain a reliable friend and a partner of Sri Lanka. Speaking at the function to mark the 67th Anniversary of Sri Lanka’s Independence, Minister Dunya impressed on the important historical facts that signified the longstanding and enduring ties of friendship between the two countries. ‘As the Maldives marks the Golden Jubilee of Independence this year, it is important to remember that most of the crucial negotiations in the run-up to the Independence Agreement were held in Colombo’ Minister said. The first diplomatic mission that the Maldives established overseas was in Colombo.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Ms Dunya Maumoon has sent a message of greetings to the Minister of External Affairs of Sri Lanka, His Excellency Mr. Mangala Samaraweera on the occasion of the 67th Anniversary of the independence of Sri Lanka.
President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent Independence Day felicitations to President Maithripala Sirisena, and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe of Sri Lanka.
