Book of condolence for former President, H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Nasir KCMG
 
     
 
A book of condolence was placed at the High Commission from 24 – 26 November, following the demise of H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Nasir KCMG, former President of the Republic of Maldives on 22 November 2008.

Burial rites for the late President Ibrahim Nasir held
 
     
 
Burial rites for the late President Ibrahim Nasir were held this morning. The funeral prayer was held after the Fajr prayer at Masjid-ul Sultan Mohammed Thakurufaanu-al Auzam. After the funeral prayers, late President Nasir was buried with full honours at the Friday Mosque.
