Maldives Signs Postgraduate Scholarship MOU with Christchurch College, University of Oxford.
 
     
 
The Republic of Maldives has today signed an MOU with Christchurch College, University of Oxford to co-fund a scholarship each year for a student from the Maldives to undertake postgraduate study in the field of Environmental Sciences.

President Dr Mohamed Waheed has said that the government would put in every effort to improve the standard of Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH). The President made this remark while speaking to the senior officials, doctors, nurses and other staff during a visit to the hospital this afternoon.
