High Commissioner attends music show hosted by Jar Music Group

Her Excellency Dr. Farah Faizal, High Commissioner of the Maldives attended the finals of BreakOut Festival Maldives hosted by Jar Music Group where Maldivian bands, FasyLive and Traffic Jam, performed.

The High Commissioner spoke at the music show, held last night at the O2 Academy Islington, explaining that the Maldives has always been known as a sun, sea and sand destination but that there are other aspects of tourism in the Maldives that are now being explored. She also invited everyone to visit the Maldives to view the rich culture and heritage themselves.

The High Commissioner also met with the members of Traffic Jam, in a meeting held today at the High Commission, where she thanked the members for their excellent performance and discussed that she hoped to receive their support in future activities that the High Commission arranges in the UK.

The High Commissioner was accompanied by Mr. Naushad Waheed, Deputy High Commissioner at both the music show and the meeting held at the High Commission.
